Description

According to the Perak State website:

The Royal Highness Standard for the use of Her Royal Highness the Raja Permaisuri Perak measures 26.6 cm × 19.0 cm, is white in colour and bears the Royal Insignia of Her Royal Highness in the center.

It is used only on the car of Her Royal Highness when she is travelling.

Those dimensions give an approximate ratio 5:7. I have used the same proportions for the emblem (about 2/3 of the flag's height) as in the website.

According to the Perak State website the Queen's emblem, though a different design, is similar to the Sultan's and contains the same six basic elements.

The flag of the Raja Permaisuri can be called the Queen's flag. However the title varies. Before the present Sultan ascended the throne, the Queen's title was Raja Perempuan — this is because the Queen was a Raja [on her own right] i.e. of Royal descent. For non-royal Consorts, the Senior one would get the title Permaisuri and junior wives do get titles like Toh Puan Besar; sometimes no titles are granted to junior wives. Since the present Sultan married only once and his current consort is a non-royal, her title is Raja Permaisuri. Anyway, regardless of the title —Raja Perempuan or Raja Permaisuri— the Queen's emblem stays the same.
